Spanish panelist Eduardo Inda recently stated on a television programme called ‘Chiringuito De Jugones’ that Cristiano Ronaldo could quit playing for Juventus and rejoin his former club Manchester United if the Italian giants fails to clinch Champions League glory.
The five time Ballon d’Or winner’s future in the club seems clouded after his outrage towards Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri for taking him off the field twice before the international break.
Inda also claims that Juventus will be happy to oblige Ronaldo’s request to leave as the club is very interested in bringing Paul Pogba back from Manchester United as well as securing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
“Juventus wants to sign Pogba and Mbappe. I think it’s going to be difficult for them, especially the second one,” said Inda during the broadcast of ‘Chiringuito De Jugones’. “Due to salary limits, if they want to sign these players they would have to allow for Ronaldo’s exit from the club so it is becoming a very likely outcome.”
Ronaldo joined Juve in a £100million move from Real Madrid back in summer 2018 and has won the Serie A title with them last season despite his second-lowest goal tally recorded in 12 seasons.
