Miri Kinsar vs Red Baron (67-96)
Both teams needs the W and both teams have yet to secure a win from this group stage. It started off evenly for both teams until the end of 2nd quarter, where Red baron scored an 18 -3 run.
On the 2nd half of the game, Miri Kinsar lost control after Red Baron’s Jia Jun unrelenting offense – he made 4 out of 8 shots from down and finishes the game with 21 points
Miri Kinsar caved in at the early stages 3rd half, unable to recover from their trail, Red Baron bested them 96-67 and secured their first win.

MKYC Dragons vs Segamat BA (52-75)
Segamat BA came into the game with a tight offensive plan and blew MKYC Dragons out of the water with a 19-0 run early into the game.
Segamat BA dominated the whole game in the 2nd quarter, extended the lead even further by 45 -14. MKYC was plagued by inability to finish in the rim – recording only 20% from the field.
With such poor shooting performance, MKYC were unable to play the catch up game and eventually recorded another L.

Cangkat Hartamas vs Penang Stallion (93 – 63)
This was a very convincing game for Cangkat Hartamas – Penang stallion did a good job holding the line at the 1st quarter of the game. Leading the quarter by only 2 points, Cangkat Hartamas revved their engines and ran over the Stallion with 37-24 at the end of quarter 2.
The golden triangle formed by the trio, Zi Fueng, Zhi Shin and Wei Yong torched the Stallion’s defense by having Zi fueng shooting 5 out of 12 from downtown. Wei Yong with 4 steals and display masterful defense.
Zhi Shin dominated the paint and scored 22 points through the whole game. Penang tried their best to make a comeback but without any solution these 3, they were met with a swift defeat.

NS Matrix vs KL Aseel (80-65)
Coming in as favorites of the tournament, Matrix put on a show in this game. With Captain Clutch Yi Hou and Ting Chun Hong leading the offense, KL Aseel scrambled their defense to stop the two offensive Juggernauts.
Both players from Matrix went on a field day and secured 21 points each. KL Aseel came close in overtaking Matrix in the 2nd quarter. Kuek and Kok Hou manned the defense side of Matrix, locking away KL Aseel’s sniper, Wee Yong Gan and Tem Zhen Jie
Since there were no counterplans from KL Aseel’s, Matrix took another W, remaining undefeated and KL Aseel recorded their first loss to the favorites.
